about Meno Mill
We are a family-owned and -operated wood milling company based in Cumberland, Virginia – about an hour’s drive west of downtown Richmond. We’re committed to sustainable timber purchasing and processing, specializing in white oak and pine.
Connected to MENO Life, we support creating the needed space for those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction to practice a joyful and free life. Part of our mill work comes from members in the nearby MENO housing program, who voluntarily bundle firewood for sale to the local state park.
Meet Meno Mill’s Master Operator
Local business owner Joshua Lewis owns and operates MENO Mill. He bought the mill in August 2024, taking over the reins from MENO Life. His ultimate goal is to make MENO Mill operate as a nonprofit, with all profit generated going back into the MENO Life program.
